About Case & Kitsy Nelson
Case and Kitsy Nelson own Amador & Calaveras Log Homes. Their home is the Deer Valley model and they enjoy showing it to all who are interested. They live in Pioneer, California, in the Sierra Nevada mountains. See our photo album for pictures of Case and Kitsy's home as it was being built. Their home was completed in January 2004.

Case and Kitsy grew up in the Bay Area, and they lived in San Jose for many years before moving to the Mother Lode in spring 2001. Kitsy says she knew their lives would change when her husband bought a magazine about log homes several years ago.

Case and Kitsy come from backgrounds in medical insurance and advertising sales, and now they enjoy the challenge of their new life in the Sierras building their own Original Lincoln Logs Ltd. home and showing others how to build their own log home.

They have one daughter, Karen, who lives and works in the Bay Area.
